Head of Philosophy, Ethics and Religious Studies – From September 2015

We are looking to recruit a well-qualified and experienced teacher of Philosophy, Ethics and Religious Studies to lead a successful Department and teach to GCSE, A and AS Level.   

The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to become involved in the School's extensive activities programme.

Teacher of Maths – From September 2015

We are currently looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths who will teach across all year groups, ideally with the ability to teach further maths. We would welcome applications from candidates who hold a teaching qualification or alternatively a good honours graduate who would like to work towards achieving this.

Teacher of Geography – From September 2015

We are currently looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography to join a talented and resourceful department which teaches Geography to a high standard in a dynamic way. We would welcome applications both from good honours graduates and from teachers seeking to develop their experience.

Non-Teaching Vacancies

PA to the Headmaster - Full Time, Year Round Position

We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and highly organised individual to provide a high level, professional and confidential secretarial support function to the Headmaster. The role will involve liaison with other schools, School Governors, staff, pupils and parents, managing the Headmaster’s diary, arranging meetings and dealing with routine correspondence amongst other responsibilities. The workload can be varied and the role-holder will need to have the ability to prioritise accordingly and manage their workload effectively.

You will have demonstrable experience of working within a similar role and proven administrative, secretarial and IT expertise alongside excellent communication skills. Previous experience of working in a school PA role would be preferable.

Science Laboratory Technician – Term Time Only

We are looking to recruit a Science Technician who will provide support to all three of our Science departments. The role-holder will be responsible for the preparation of equipment for use in experiments, ensuring that equipment is made available for the department and ordered where required and that departmental records are maintained.

The successful candidate will have relevant science qualifications with previous experience of working within a school Science Technician role.
