New term...new School Values film. Our values provide an education that inspires pupils to achieve their full potential, to prepare them for a rapidly changing world and equip them with the ability to think critically and independently. We aim to produce young people who exhibit our core values of Integrity, Compassion, Curiosity, Resilience, Responsibility and Independence so they leave Reed’s as rounded individuals with a strong moral compass.

Not sure it gets much more 'Physicsy' than this! A model engine topping a mug with the famous image from the 1927 Solvay Conference. Good luck to our A-level Physics students who will kick off the exam season in a couple of weeks, their opportunity to write themselves into history.

The fabulous U6th physicists had a great time @thunderbirdckn and @ifly_london at the @theo2london - the trip gave us the chance to thank them for their hard work over these two years (and for putting in the hard yards in the coming weeks!). This group will kick off the A-level exam season later this month. Good luck all!

At a conference hosted by Peter Vardy, a world-renowned philosopher particularly noted for his works on the study of Development in Christian thought and the Word of God, students were fascinated to learn about topic of the day - the Word - characterised by sections upon Christian ethics, philosophical thought surrounding the afterlife and the works of Karl Marx.
Afterwards they were lucky enough to enjoy a debate with Peter Vardy, discussing different philosophical questions surrounding Christianity.
This beneficial conference allowed students to develop knowledge of various perspectives and chains of reasoning on the topic, an essential skill for tackling their A-level course.

#Throwback to last Friday where the talent on diplay at our Choral and Orchestral Music Concert at Fairfield Halls was phenomenal! Our choir (joined by @ripleycourt's choir), soloists (vocal and instrumental) in both Fauré’s Requiem and Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon were incredible, as was the conducting of Dr Smith in his first major concert since taking over as Director of Music from the late Mr Willey. We are sure that he would be so pleased to know, with nearly a third of the school involved music remains at the heart of the Reed’s community.
