Saturday 5th July - with guest of honour Alistair Crane (OR Capel 2004)
A seasoned, multi-exit founder and thought leader in the entrepreneurial space, Alistair regularly features in mainstream media including The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, BBC World News, Forbes, Business Insider, The Evening Standard, The Guardian and The Apprentice.
Alistair is currently CEO of Bloom, a digital career coaching business, prior to which he was CEO and Co-founder at Hero, acquired by Klarna in July 2021 for $165m. Hero’s new breed of technology accelerated omni-channel sales for the world’s leading retailers by connecting online shoppers live with associates in the physical store.
Alistair has also been CEO of m-commerce specialist Grapple and grew the business from start-up to one of the industry’s biggest success stories, securing a $90m exit in September 2013 to Monitise PLC where he joined as a European President before progressing to Chief Sales Officer, moving to California to run the US office and report to the Global Board.
Alistair also holds several board positions in exciting new startups, most recently becoming Chairman of The Hut Group (THG plc) – Ingenuity, an e-commerce retail company - to accelerate growth in core markets.
