Forum Partner Organisations
Part of the success of our thriving Forum is the long-term relationships we have established with our operational partners who help deliver the enrichment activities. Reed’s is open to developing relationships with new partners who share our vision to provide innovative and inspiring programmes for disadvantaged primary and secondary school children through a range of enrichment activities.
Reedham’s Children’s Trust
Reedham’s Children’s Trust provides support for vulnerable and disadvantaged children, collaborating with grass roots organisations and schools to offer practical, emotional and inspirational support, helping to raise aspirations and transform the lives of vulnerable children. Reedham’s and Reed’s work together to provide GCSE tutoring in English and Maths for up to 15 children from the Oasis Academy in Coulsdon.
Chelsea Football Foundation
Formed in 2010, Chelsea Football Club’s Foundation has established one of the leading social responsibility programmes in the country. Reed’s works with Chelsea Football Club to deliver one of the Forum activities - the Olympiad Day.
Surrey County Cricket Club
The whole of the Surrey Cricket Development Team, at a county, district and club level, is committed to making a difference to the game and building strong partnerships within and outside the game. Reed’s School has a long-standing relationship with Surrey County Cricket Club who work with us to help deliver excellent coaching for our Olympiad Day.
Rackets Cubed
Rackets Cubed is a UK based charity that runs integrated Squash, Tennis, Education (Maths) and Nutrition Programmes for local disadvantaged inner-city school children. The programme’s vision is driven by the increasing evidence that active children have higher school achievement and that nutritious foods improve classroom behaviour.
Reed’s hosts this programme on an annual basis, with 20 Year 5 children from a local primary school participating in the programme over a 10 week period. The children play an hour of rackets sports, have an hour of Maths tuition, and are then are fed a nutritious meal. In the final week of the programme all the children participate in a Squash Tournament.
The Golf Foundation
The Golf Foundation is a charity set up in 1952 which works with schools to break down barriers to learning the game, offering training workshops, resources and grants. Reed’s has worked with the Golf Foundation to deliver Tri-GOLF, which is an energetic version of golf aimed at young children in primary schools, at the Olympiad Day.
