Reed’s awarded 3rd place in the Land Rover 4x4 in Schools Challenge

Back

Reed’s entered a team in the Land Rover 4x4 in Schools Challenge. They took on the South East regional final at the Land Rover BAR HQ in Portsmouth and were thrilled to be placed third out of all the schools participating, an excellent achievement by the team in their first year of entering the competition. In the build up to the event the boys (Ben Davidson, Rory Moynihan, Edward Blewitt and James Foster) worked to produce a 1:18 scale working, radio-controlled, rock-crawler vehicle designed to undertake a number of challenges. After a verbal presentation and a thorough grilling from the technical engineers, the team took on the tough, off-road track produced by Land Rover. Third place was great, but their sights are now firmly set on improving their position next year!
